The Cardiac Medical Yoga Teacher Training Program is an internationally renowned certification program designed to educate and train medical personnel and yoga instructors to work with cardiac patients and their spouses in the area of Lifestyle Medicine and Medical Yoga. Participants in this comprehensive training program learn how to adapt the basic concepts of medical yoga, lifestyle medicine, and stress management to the special needs of the cardiac patient and their spouses.
This competency-based certification program is offered in two parts. Part One is an online, self-paced study through our Teachable platform. After your application is approved, you will receive a link to the Teachable platform to pay your tuition and begin your online study. The online study has to be completed by January 13, 2023 Part Two is Online (zoom platform) for the clinical component of the training. The training times for Part Two are: Friday, January 20, 2023 - 10:00-1:00 & 3:00-6:00; Saturday, January 21, 10:00-1:00 & 3:00-6:00; Sunday, January 22 from 12:00-2:00 & 4:00 - 6:00. Saturday, January 28 from 10:00-1:00 & 3:00-6:00; and Sunday, January 29 from 11-2 and 4-6. EST. Students are encouraged to apply early as the course has limited enrollment. All yoga traditions are welcome to apply. Healthcare workers are encouraged to apply. You do not need yoga teaching certification to be accepted into this training program.
