Neuroscience & Yoga Training Terms & Conditions

Terms of Participation

I understand that it is my responsibility to consult with a qualified medical professional, as appropriate, prior to participating in this or any training involving yoga or physical activity.

I understand that it is my responsibility to determine whether I am able to participate safely in any yoga practices or postures included in the training. I understand that I am participating voluntarily and accept responsibility for monitoring my own well-being and choosing whether or not to participate in any particular practice.

Training Materials and Intellectual Property

I understand and agree that the handouts, presentations, recordings, and other materials provided as part of the Neuroscience & Yoga Training are confidential and proprietary materials belonging to Positive Health Solutions, LLC and/or M. Mala Cunningham, Ph.D.

These materials are provided for my personal educational and professional use in connection with the training. I agree not to copy, reproduce, share, publish, distribute, sell, or otherwise provide training materials to another person or entity without the express written permission of M. Mala Cunningham, Ph.D., founder and owner of the Neuroscience & Yoga Training.

I agree to purchase or access only authorized editions of Neuroscience & Yoga Training materials and will not participate in or encourage the unauthorized reproduction or distribution of copyrighted materials.

Cancellation by Positive Health Solutions, LLC

If Positive Health Solutions, LLC cancels the Neuroscience & Yoga Training, participants will receive a full refund of tuition payments made for the training.

Positive Health Solutions, LLC, the Neuroscience & Yoga Training, and their instructors, staff, sponsors, and affiliates are not responsible for reimbursing travel, airfare, hotel expenses, or other costs incurred by a participant in connection with the training.

Participant Cancellation and Refund Policy

Refunds for participant cancellations are based on the date written notice of cancellation is received by Positive Health Solutions, LLC:

  • 45 days or more before the training begins: Refund of tuition paid, less the $35 application fee and a $75 administrative fee ($110 total).

  • 30–44 days before the training begins: Refund of tuition paid, less $350.

  • 20–29 days before the training begins: Refund of 50% of the total training fee.

  • 19 days or fewer before the training begins: Refund of 35% of the total training fee.

  • After the training begins: No refund will be issued.

Any nonrefundable fees or amounts described above will be retained by Positive Health Solutions, LLC.

Waiver of Liability

In consideration of being permitted to participate in the Neuroscience & Yoga Training, I understand that participation in yoga and related practices may involve risks, including the possibility of physical injury or discomfort.

I knowingly and voluntarily assume the risks associated with my participation in the training. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, I waive and release claims against Positive Health Solutions, LLC; the Neuroscience & Yoga Training; M. Mala Cunningham, Ph.D.; and their instructors, assisting staff, sponsors, affiliated organizations, and sponsoring locations for injury, damages, or loss arising from my participation in the training.

I understand that this waiver and release is intended to apply to me and, to the extent permitted by law, my heirs, legal representatives, and assigns.

Personal Information

Positive Health Solutions, LLC and the Neuroscience & Yoga Training collect personal information that participants provide during registration and in connection with participation in the training.

Personal information will be treated as confidential and used for purposes related to administering the training, communicating with participants, processing registrations and payments, and providing related services.

When necessary to provide these services, Positive Health Solutions, LLC may share relevant personal information with contractors or third-party service providers that assist with functions such as registration, payment processing, communications, technology, or other administrative services. Information shared with service providers will be limited to what is reasonably necessary for them to perform those services.

Positive Health Solutions, LLC will not otherwise disclose participants' personal information except with their authorization or when disclosure is required or permitted by applicable law.

Agreement

By submitting my registration, I acknowledge that I have read and understood these Terms & Policies for the Neuroscience & Yoga Training. I voluntarily agree to these Terms & Policies and understand that my agreement is a condition of participation in the training.
